ISBNS

If you are planning to be a prolific author or set up your own publishing house, it makes sense to purchase your own ISBNs.
 
Unfortunately, the ISBN pricing system is weighted against first timers and small purchasers. Descending Cat is here to make it more economical for you.

We buy our ISBNs in bulk, and if they are purchased with our other services, they only cost you $25.

They offer additional trim sizes for international books, mass market paperbacks and large print.

Cover Design

At Descending Cat we really don’t suggest you scrimp on your book cover. Covers are like editing, they are a requirement for an ‘attractive’ book, and are specialised skills. We can help you design a cover with in-house, local, or web skills (Fiverr, Deviantart, etc), or we can help you navigate the canned book cover selection process that Amazon offers, but we won’t feel that happy about it.

 

This is particularly true if you are selling online, where more that 75 percent of book sales happen. A great cover can mean that one-click brings you a sale.
